Passing Marks Criteria:
General / EWS Category: 90 Marks
OBC / SC / ST Category: 82 Marks
ЁЯУШ UPTET Paper 1 Exam Pattern (Primary Level: Class 1–5)
If you are aiming to teach primary classes (1 to 5), you will appear for Paper 1.
The paper consists of 150 objective questions for a total of 150 marks.
Child Development & Pedagogy (рдмाрд▓ рд╡िрдХाрд╕): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Language I (Hindi - Compulsory): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Language II (Choose English, Urdu, or Sanskrit): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Mathematics (рдЧрдгिрдд): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Environmental Studies (EVS / рдкрд░्рдпाрд╡рд░рдг рдЕрдз्рдпрдпрди): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
ЁЯУЧ UPTET Paper 2 Exam Pattern (Upper Primary: Class 6–8)
For candidates applying to teach upper primary classes (6 to 8), the structure is slightly different but still features 150 questions for 150 marks.
Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Language I (Hindi - Compulsory): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Language II (Choose English, Urdu, or Sanskrit): 30 MCQs / 30 Marks.
Subject Specialization (60 MCQs / 60 Marks):
Option A: Math & Science (For Math/Science background students).
Option B: Social Studies / SST (For Arts/Humanities background students).
